Established under a privatization initiative of the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Highways, TransTech Data Services offers a comprehensive range of automatic and manual transportation data collection services including reporting and analysis, verification and validation to meet the demands of transportation engineering agendas of regional, provincial, national and international clients. We recognize that accurate transportation surveys are an integral part of the engineering for determining capacity, predicting future needs and enhancing existing transportation systems.

Specializing in the collection of transportation-related data in Western Canada, our management team draws on their years of collective experience, technical knowledge and excellence through education and collaboration. We retain regional field survey teams and technicians with the skills and knowledge to undertake data collection using the most appropriate technologies and methodologies suitable for operating conditions in all regions of BC and Alberta.

Our equipment resources encompass a combination of newer and proven technologies. While we keep up to date with newer and adapted technologies, TransTech ensures we remain at the forefront of the multi-modal traffic data collection sector by focusing on accurate data collection and a rigorous quality assurance process for all projects we undertake.
